Frequently Asked Questions
Getting Started
How do I document an accident?
Open the app and tap "New Accident." Follow the step-by-step checklist to photograph your accident scene, capture vehicle information, and collect witness details. The app guides you through each step.
Do I need to create an account?
No. Right After Crash works without an account. Your data stays on your device. You only need an account if you want to use Premium features like cloud backup.
Does the app work without internet?
Yes. Right After Crash is designed to work completely offline. Accidents often happen in areas with poor cell service—the app doesn't require internet to document your accident or generate PDF reports.
Photos & Documentation
What photos should I take after an accident?
Right After Crash includes a complete checklist, but generally you should photograph: All vehicles involved (all four sides of each), close-ups of all damage, license plates, driver's licenses and insurance cards, the overall accident scene from multiple angles, street signs, traffic signals, and road conditions, skid marks or debris, and any injuries (with consent).
Are my photos GPS-tagged automatically?
Yes. When you take photos within the app, they're automatically tagged with GPS coordinates and timestamps. This creates verifiable evidence for your insurance claim.
Can I add photos I already took?
Yes. If you took photos with your regular camera before opening the app, you can add them to your accident report. However, these may not have the same GPS verification as photos taken within the app.
Reports & Sharing
How do I share my accident report?
After completing your documentation, tap "Generate Report" to create a PDF. You can then email it directly, save it to Files, share via any app, or AirDrop it.
What format is the report?
Reports are generated as professional PDF documents that include all your photos, information, and timestamps in an organized format suitable for insurance companies.
Can I edit a report after creating it?
Yes. You can return to any accident documentation and add photos, update information, or add notes at any time before or after generating a report.
Privacy & Data
Where is my data stored?
All data is stored locally on your device. Nothing is uploaded to any server unless you explicitly choose to export/share it, or if you use Premium cloud backup.
Can I delete my data?
Yes. You can delete individual accident reports from within the app, or delete all data by uninstalling the app.
Do you sell my data?
No. We don't collect your data, so we can't sell it. Your documentation stays on your device.

What does Premium include?
Premium includes: Cloud backup for all accident reports, unlimited accident documentation (free is limited to one active report), enhanced PDF templates, damage cost estimation tool, and priority support.
